INcompass Healthcare is celebrating one year of Same Day Access, an initiative designed to make it easier for people of all ages to connect with behavioral health or substance use disorder services when they are ready to seek help. Rather than waiting weeks for an appointment, individuals can walk in and begin the process of connecting with services based on their needs.
Over one year, Same Day Access has helped 1,737 individuals take their first step toward care, with 700 connected to a higher level of care based on their individual needs.
As the program enters its second year, INcompass plans to continue strengthening access to care by expanding substance use disorder services, developing stronger clinical pathways for trauma, anxiety and substance use, and continuing to promote whole-person care. INcompass Healthcare has served individuals and families across Southeastern Indiana for nearly 60 years and provides behavioral health, recovery, crisis and primary care services.
