Protect Yourself and Prevent Scams

The Beacon and Dearborn County GOP are proud to partner up with the Indiana Attorney General’s Office for two presentations in Dearborn County titled, ‘Consumer Protection & Scam Prevention’ on Tuesday, August 25th.

Presented by Janice McHenry, Outreach Representative with the Office of Attorney General Todd Rokita, particular topics that will be covered include how consumers can protect themselves, data privacy, common scams, how to file a complaint with the AG’s Office, and more. Additionally, the presentation will finish up with information on Indiana’s Unclaimed Property, and how consumers can search to see if there are any unclaimed funds held by the State.

These presentations are FREE to attend and will be at the following times and locations:

10:30AM: St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (St. John’s Hall) at 25743 State Road1 Guilford, IN 47022

1:00PM: Lawrenceburg Library (Ewbank Room) at 123 Mary St.  Lawrenceburg, IN 47025 (Doors open at 12:45PM).
