The BEACON is one of Southeast Indiana’s hometown media companies. Founded in 1994, we published our first newspaper even as people were saying that print media was dead. Twenty-four years later, our company has grown 600 percent. We’ve expanded from a single sheet of paper to a variety of media properties, and we’re still growing!
