Attorney General Rokita celebrates Supreme Court victory protecting women’s sports

Attorney General Todd Rokita issued the following statement on the U.S. Supreme Court’s historic ruling in West Virginia v. B.P.J. and Little v. Hecox, upholding states’ authority to protect women’s sports by keeping them separated by biological sex under Title IX:

“My team and I worked to support West Virginia and Idaho, and we are pleased with the High Court’s reasoning here. Every American should be highly concerned that the Supreme Court even had to decide on a basic question of biological reality like this. This ruling will protect women and girls for generations to come.”
